# How to perform a stocktake

### Learn how to conduct a product stocktake in Spray Diary.

Spray Diary provides the option to manage product stock levels, and a stocktake can be executed by adjusting the stock amounts.

To access the stock control features, you will need the [multi-location subscription](https://www.spraydiary.com/pricing/).

### How to perform a product stocktake

1. Navigate to **Products -> Stock Levels**.
2. Click the **+ New Adjustments** button.
3. Begin by entering an **Adjustment Date** and **Storage Location** of where the stock levels are to be adjusted.
4. Next, choose a **Product** and adjust the stock by entering a positive (or negative) **Adjustment** amount. A negative amount reduces the stock levels.
5. **Repeat Step 4** if additional products need stock levels adjusted at the given storage location.
6. Click **Process**.
