# How to enable a stock item

### Learn how to enable a product stock item in Spray Diary.

Spray Diary offers the option to manage product stock efficiently.

To access the stock control features, you will need the [multi-location subscription](https://www.spraydiary.com/pricing/).

How to setup a stock item

1. Navigate to **Products -> Products List**.
2. Location the desired product entry, click the row menu, and select **View/Edit**.
3. Enable the option **Maintain Stock for this Product**.
4. Set a **Unit of Measure (UoM)** as the base measurement for the product.
5. Optionally, enter a **Re-order Level** value and/or **Supplier**.
6. Click **Save**.
